How To Reprogram A Insignia Remote Control

Takk! Temporary Cultural Action Katowice (21.05)

Crystal Fighters Classifieds bewitched

in Katowice in the action Takk! Temporary Cultural Action Classifieds starring Rubber Dots and Crystal Fighters. This is yet another important building block in getting a more solid structure, which is Katowice's candidacy to become the European Capital of Culture 2016.

Anne Iwanek with Rubber Dots

Mary rightly earned the reputation as one of the most important open-air concert sites in Katowice - enchanting beauty, purity, wealth of pubs and venues. It was there held, inter alia, concerts in the series "The Window KATO", and outdoor performances by the stars (there was a year ago even Jose Gonzalez). Crystal Fighters concert Saturday and Rubber Dots was the essence of a modern, open to new sounds of the capital of Upper Silesia, which the uninitiated rather associated with particulate matter and godoniem after Ślunsku. As a resident of Katowice kilkutelni, watched the developments in this city and I dare say that it has become (especially after moving Off Festival) really a mecca not only the events and students, but most of all seekers of the arts. Good art, by the great S. But to the point, because extending myself on the side issues ...

Rubber Dots started the concert evening at St. Mary's. At the same time, the airport Muchowiec events took place in the Silesian students' festival, so you could see students waiting for buses in the huge queues. For those who do not know what you choose, the decision had to be quite a dilemma. Rubber Dots, the Warsaw duo Anna Iwanek (m.inn. 6t's Club) and Stefan Glowacki, known for the formation of African collective. Their music, which certainly appears in many metropolitan clubs and not only is a mixture of electro club with the latest trends. At times they sound like Loco Star, sometimes verge on techno under the sign of Aphex Twin. Drew my particular attention to clean, great vocals Ani Iwanek. She sings not only clean, but it seems as if it is sprawiało ease, like a cat climbing trees. Without puffed up, without ceremony - vocals cleanly, neatly and easily. Although musically this band is something to work (it did not fall in my memory no track), prognosis is generally very good.

After short of their performance, it's time for star of the evening - mainly English Crystal Fighters. It includes Sebastian Pringle (lead vocals, guitar), Gilbert Vierich (Electronics, guitar, drums), Graham Dickson (guitar, txalaparta) and vocalist Mimi and Laura Borelli Stockley. On the stage, ran one of them, but that does not change the fact that CF gave a great concert. Folk instruments, two sets of drums, guitars and energy of people kidnapped from the scene of collective madness. Surprised me with its power not only musicians, but audiences have not even had to be encouraged to clap, or humming a melody. Themselves they did, at one point singing a chorus of: CRYSTAL FIGHTERS, CRYSTAL FIGHTERS.

But you have to say - deservedly. Next folk songs, which could be heard clearly flamenco ("Plage"), lots of accents in their music club, which hit the wooden logs fills pulsating rhythm ("I Love London"). There are also pleasant to the ear from which the song came out brilliantly, "At Home", a combination of flamenco, with a simple pop song. A great concert lasted less than an hour, though the audience demanded more.

marginal addition to accents in the form of not knowing where you are now and what was happening to him - here Cheer for the protection for the quick response - concerts at St. Mary's confirmed what I wrote above - Katowice conceal their artistic gates of pearls, which you only find it. I hope more such events ...
