in Katowice in the newly opened club 50x50 (Square of the Silesian 2), the event "Collision Art - 50 x Emotions" starring Graftmann, Indigo Tree and Robert Brylewski with difficult youth . It was possible to ponder, but remember the communist times. At the beginning of
Graftmann presented himself, one-man project, behind which hides a guitarist and vocalist tekściach - Roman Szczepanek. It was a good decision to start the evening it was. Mild, inspired by American folk and country music playing, combined with a subtle voice, allowed to relax in their sofas guests, smudge different types of drinks. Graftmann deserves more attention than is really devoted to him, the whole sound and vocal nonchalance and apparently simple rifów (incidentally, enriched with sleepers), the artist can create a mood of camping somewhere in the mountains, where the best friends tell each other stories of the past. Is this music for lonely contemplation - I think so, because any attempt zagadywania songwriter during a performance artist ended up in the pure fiat: "Yeah - Brilliant. " Graftmann actually creates this intimate and unique atmosphere with his music and I think that many would like him to enjoy an exclusive wine and talk about music. The show contains mostly songs from their debut album zatytuowanej "Graftmann" quite surprising enriched treatment (they say it covers): "Boys Outside" Steve Mason, and "Kids" MGMT.
The next in the queue were the Indigo Tree, Wroclaw trio (until recently the duo), composed of Filip Zawada (Bass), Peve Lety (guitar) and Michael Kupicz, which deals mainly with samples and primers. Filip Zawada for the concert was also an opportunity to present the book is still fresh by themselves: "Dogs draft" in which the artist shared his thoughts with the world of frequent travel by rail. Zawada quoted passages of individual departments, which are mentioned, inter alia, "nuns kibolach, kiblach, lace, babciach ..." In the course of casual conversation with Philip, he betrayed us, that the Indigo Tree is preparing the next album. Does this year, or no longer - new songs are created. At the concert, as he admitted afterwards Philip "failed", we heard the half of the songs from the debut, "Lullabies of Love And Death" and other "Blanik". There were also several new, unfamiliar songs, but all the links for the typical IT pain. Pain, who in their songs can be heard, the band itself admits, moreover, that the themes of death and suffering to talk and sing is not afraid.
At the end presented to Robert Brylewski, known for his many incarnations: including Army Brigade Crisis, a project jointly with difficult youth. The team next Brylewski complement bassist Martyn Crew, drummer and saxophonist Philip Twigg Lisecki Sergius. Who thought it was muted earlier public appearances Katowice 50x50 club does not pay attention to the energy of punk-reaggową troubled youth, he was wrong. At the stage it became quite crowded at some point, gentlemen, which apparently resembled the hippie times, started the stage brandishing his arms and legs, bumping into one another. Was not injured, merrily - yes. Admittedly, that Robert and his team Brylewski gave a great, sentimental show. Punk journey into the dark years the 80th, great drum tracks and variations on the saxophone stimulated whole body to move, albeit not as rapid as that of some. Musical madness took over 3 hours.
